Gourmet Caterers knows that May and June bring many opportunities to celebrate with your family and friends. We want to be the one you think of for Catering Orange County. Celebrations always include food in my family, how about yours? We love to eat food, good food and plenty of it. Maybe some Appetizers, or a BBQ, a Brunch, or even a Dessert Party. We can choose from Italian foods or maybe we should be adventurous and try Indian Food. I have to say my all time favorite is Mexican Food.
How many of you have a Graduate that is finishing High School or College? Now is the time to start planning for that event. My Niece is graduating from High School on June 1st. Her celebration will be held a few days later. I am very proud of her accomplishments and her upcoming admission to UCSD. I wish her congratulations and Best wishes for a Successful future.
Later on this summer, my Cousin is getting married. This too will be a family celebration. and yes, more eating. Family, celebration and food all go together hand in hand. Weddings are a wonderful time to get friends and family together to experience the love and commitment to the future the couple are making.
What celebrations are happening in your family? Or with your friends? Please share them with us on our FaceBook page.
Have a wonderful week and remember Gourmet Caterers would love to help you and yours celebrate your milestones.
The appetizer buffet at the LeWinter Memorial, held in Corona del Mar yesterday was accented by a beautiful floral arrangement created by Gourmet Caterers using flowers from Mayesh Wholesale Flowers. Beautiful white roses accented with a touch of red gave the needed punch to a classy appetizer buffet.
The buffet set up consisted of black linens, accented by silver fabric, using glass platters and elevations to complete the look. The appetizers were a great hit. The guests especially enjoyed the Chicken Pinwheels and Ahi Tuna on a sesame chip. All of the guests gathered were pleased with the food and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

What an amazing Barmitzvah, for 200 guests, it was. Gourmet Caterers served the Appetizers in the Rotunda. Spectacular sushi with ahi tuna and fresh salmon, and unique california rolls. We had a latke station which consisted of Potato latkes, zucchini latkes, and sweet potato latkes, all served with accomplaments. We also had wonton cups served with delicious creamy artichoke with pesto and almonds. For the adults we served smoked cheese and caramilized onion quesedillas and for the kids just plain cheese quesedillas.
For the main menu – kids were served Chicken and Beef kebobs, french fries, cesar salad and garlic breads
The adult menu was fresh bread display, and the a Zia salad plated. Grilled marinated chicken breast, with peach and green chile sauce, and a cashew crusted halibut with a fruity salsa. This was served with a wild rice with snow peas, and a mixed grilled exotic vegetables with a chipotle vinaigrette.
Dessert was a chocolate fountain, served with fresh fruit kebabs, marshmellows , fresh oatmeal cookies, ice cream, rice crispy bars, meringues and liquorice.
