Sweet and Sour Brisket

A brisket dish which I tried this year, was really nice (but again has
sugar, so not sure if its a hit for diabetics…its a very difficult
recipe (ha Ha)

1 big bottle of sauerkraut
3 cups brown sugar
2 medium sized cans peeled whole tomatoes (no juice)

mix above together throw over the raw brisket, put into an oven of
about 300 degrees, cover with foil for about 3 hours – baste every now

brisket should be soft and its delicious…

Gourmet Caterers does it in style for a Wedding

Wow and what a wedding a was. Spectacular beach wedding at the Dunes in Newport Beach.  Guests arrived to Gourmet’s sumptious appetizers of Sushi, spicy vegetables in phyllo pastry, beef wontons in curried apricot sauce and vegetables and fruit displays.  The Entree was mushroom stuffed chicken breast in a pine nut crumb, and ginger crusted chilean seabass, with grilled vegetable kebabs,  marble potatoes, and a rice dish.  Dessert was our three layered Wedding cake with fresh flowers and baby fruit tartlets.  The venue was amazing and all guests thoroughly enjoyed the beauty of the beach.                              See Pictures  at       http://www.PictureTrail.com/gid19446022&pathID=1956962
